Good news for Joost Klein: he is once again welcome at the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The previous disqualification that temporarily excluded him from participating has now been overturned.
During an interview with Swedish radio station P4, Jean Philip De Tender, head of the EBU, confirmed that Joost Klein is allowed to participate again.
This decision coincides remarkably with an ongoing case in Sweden involving Joost due to an incident with a female camerawoman.
Nevertheless, EBU has indicated that Klein can return next year, provided AVROTROS selects him as the candidate for Eurovision 2025.
EBU: ‘Joost Klein is welcome at the Song Contest next year.’ Joost’s disqualification is not a reason to exclude him from a future edition. EBU chief Jean Philip De Tender stated this in a Swedish radio interview.

Whether the Netherlands will participate in the song contest next year is still uncertain, as AVROTROS is awaiting several structural adjustments from EBU before making a decision.
1. Bijzondere mededeling van de EBU..

4. Toch vreemd daar eer nog een zaak loopt in Zweden…
5. Nadere toelichtingen ontbreken in het rapport
